HENLEY BEAT INGON IN SEMI-FINAL OF AVON TROPHY COMPETITION TO SET UP A FINAL BETWEEN THEMSELVES AND THE WARWICKSHIRE EARLS WHICH WILL BE PLAYED AT INGON AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

 

 

WELCOME TO STRATFORD OAKS GOLF CLUB joining the League in 2015

  

AVON CHALLENGE & PRESENTATION 2015

• Date Saturday September 19th 2015
• Venue Atherstone Golf Club.
• Time 8.30am Shot Gun Start.
• Competition Team Aggregate Stableford.
• 18 Holes, White Tees, Maximum Handicap 18, ¾ Allowance.
• Players 6 Pairs to compete (12 players) (As usual please notify C.Kennedy the Team Names by Wednesday prior to the event to facilitate making the score sheet and making cards out.)
• Scoring Pairs Better Ball Stableford. All 6 scores to count.
• In the event of a tie, the result will be decided by the aggregate of the 6 cards.  Back 9; back 6;back 3; back 1 etc
• Rules. Team Captains to be responsible for collection and checking of completed scorecards before giving them to the scorer. (This is important to ensure speedy results and not delay lunch.)
• Lunch. Following the golf at approx 2.15pm.
• Dress Smart Casual. No jeans, trainers, shirts without collars etc.
• Prize Giving Approx 3.15pm.

 

2015 costs are (provisional)

• Cost £ 18 per player plus £3 for sweeps = £ 21 per player.
• Team cost £ 21 @ 12 players = £ 252
• Cheque payable to Atherstone Golf Club or cash to Martin Hughes by September 12th, please.
• Total 11 Clubs £2,772 split £2,376 to Atherstone Golf Club and £396 for cash for prizes/sweeps.
• Sweeps 11 Clubs @ 12 players = 132 @ £3 = £396 split
